The Hub's Story
The Arcade Innovation Hub, powered by PNC Bank, was created to serve as the regional nexus for the new venture creation and social innovation that will lead to a more vibrant and inclusive regional economy.

The vision for the Hub began in 2015, when the University of Dayton and the Entrepreneurs’ Center organically developed a mutually beneficial strategic relationship combining the strengths and capabilities of each partner to create synergies for students and small businesses. That vision came to life in 2021, when the Hub began operations in the historic Dayton Arcade.

The Dayton Arcade was the center of the regional economy at the turn of the century but was dormant for nearly 40 years. Through the commitment and vision of the University of Dayton and the Entrepreneurs’ Center, the Arcade is once again visible proof that the heritage and history of innovation is alive and well in the Dayton Region.
The Hub is home to a diverse collection of transdisciplinary members and fosters engagement between hundreds of students, small businesses, artists, and community leaders each day.

Members are supported through a comprehensive collection of venture creation services, space solutions, experiential opportunities and capital sources – all focused on fostering entrepreneurialism and innovation.
